Adam Levine took to Instagam on Monday to share his filled out back tattoo of a winged mermaid cradling a skull.

The 36-year-old singer faced away from the camera to show newly added details to the inked tableau.

'Thanks @bryanrandolph for absolutely blowing my mind with this one! Woooo hooooo!!!!,' Levine wrote in the caption for his more than five million followers on Instagram.

Levine also shared a photo of the back tattoo in November as tattoo artist Bryan Randolph was working on it.

The artist has since added ocean waves with a clipper ship with full sails and a sun setting on the sea.

The mermaid also was newly framed with an intricate border pattern.

Adam's wife Behati Prinsloo, 26, shared the November image too and revealed the San Francisco Bay area tattooist came to their home.

'House call,' Behati wrote in the caption.

Adam's huge back tattoo is the latest in his impressive collection.

He already has an animal paw with the name of his beloved pet dog Frankie's Girl underneath and a silhouette of a pinup girl.

His other tattoos include: a guitar on his left forearm, a tiger on his right forearm and an intricate rose on his left shoulder.

The Maroon 5 frontman also has a heart and flowers dedicated to his mother and a flying eagle above his stomach.

Levine and and his model wife Prinsloo have been married since July 2014.
